About Himbaza
The origin story that started with a single conversation
Himbaza began as a simple conversation between two friends who shared the same vision of making Kinyarwanda hymns accessible to everyone.
Although hymn apps and websites existed, we noticed a few things missing. Many were available only on Android, some relied on ads, others lacked a smooth experience or strong search features—and almost none worked well across all platforms. We wanted something different:
- Accessible on any device
- Completely ad-free
- Usable offline for quiet, uninterrupted worship
- Equipped with fast and intuitive search
- Clean, modern, and easy to navigate
Our Purpose
From the very beginning, our goal wasn’t just to design a beautiful app. It was to serve. We created Himbaza to help make Kinyarwanda hymns more available to our brothers and sisters in faith—to anyone who wants a quiet moment with God, whether online or offline.
